Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Navodaya Institute of Technology, Raichur in association with IETE Student Forum was organized one day webinar on “Trends in Bioengineering” on 11-09-2023. The Resource person Ms. Sushma Hallad, Biotechnologist, Raichur presented guest lecture on Biocomputing, Bioimaging and AI for disease diagnosis, Biomining, etc. Principal Dr. M.V. Mallikarjuna presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Dr. K.Venkatachalam, HOD/ECE, convener  highlighted the importance of Bioengineering and Biomedical Instrumentation. Dr. E. Channaveeramma welcomed and Prof. Renuka Devi thanked all the dignitaries and participants. Totally 67 students and faculty members from NITR and other colleges were participated.
